Year 5

I hope everyone enjoyed their trip today.  There were some fabulous exhibits and lots to see.  How lucky are we to live in such a connected world?  It almost felt like we'd been there.  (And even better you didn't have to listen to us going over all those boring rules and telling you not to leave your coat on the bus!)

That's all for this week and for this term.  Remember, just because it's Easter doesn't mean you can't read, draw or work on your project.  We would love to see some photographs of how they are progressing.

If you wish to contact us over the holidays that's ok - we won't be putting up any new work but we are still here for help or just to say hello.

Mrs Millar and Miss Kennedy

Hello and welcome to week 2.  It's going quickly isn't it? I hope you are adjusting to the new circumstances and have settled into a good routine.   Thank you for the messages and questions - it's ok to ask or even just say hello.  We are all in this together and it’s lovely to hear how you are getting on.

Remember you can use your own C2K login to access the Newsdesk.

You will also need to use our AR link to access the quizzes - if you just google AR and try to login from there it won't work.

Also...if you are running out of reading material you can use the other orange tab (Accelerated Reader Articles) on the AR homepage to access lots of levelled articles that you can read and be quizzed on to gain points towards your target. The targets run up until next Tuesday (7.4.20).  After the Easter break we will release the next Star test and reset targets for term 3 accordingly.

So great to hear of all the reading that is continuing at home with some keen readers achieving their targets many times over!  Well done, P5s!

Keep reading, keep washing, keep inside and, most importantly, keep safe.
