Well P1...can you believe that we have reached the end of the school year? Honestly, never, ever did we expect it to be ending like this. Normally we would all be playing together, revising what we had done throughout the year and having a wee mad rush to complete our final bits and pieces before Summer break. You know what, though? We are MASSIVELY proud of you all for what you’ve been doing since we last saw you in March. You have worked so hard alongside your amazing parents. You are all real life superheroes (parents, we mean that for you guys just as much as our children. Honestly, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your support during this past few months).
Over the next week or so you’ll receive a message on the app for a time to come in to collect some of your children’s things along with their reports so please keep an eye on that.
Below are a few fun activities that you can work through together this week. Please just do what you feel you can or want to and take this time to go back and revisit anything you missed over the previous weeks and potentially revisit areas that were a wee bit trickier.
We would love to hear from you all to see how you and the children are now coming to the end of this strange time, so please do send us an email if you have the chance. Hearing from you and receiving wee photos and videos of the children has really kept us going throughout this. To say we have missed them is an understatement!
We hope that each and every one of you have a well deserved, safe and happy summer break. We can’t wait to see you all again in person at the beginning of the new school year.
Lots and lots of love,
Miss Bryans & Mrs Wilson

You can also base some activities around one of our favourite books, ‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’.
Make your own map and go on a bear hunt in the garden or in a park.
Can you find some things in your house to make the sound effects for the different parts in the story?
Set up a ‘cave’ using your quilt and some pillows and act out the story with your family.
Imagine you were the bear...how would you feel if a family were on a hunt to find you?
