Miss Neill P3/4

“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

What a very unusual year this has turned out to be!

Back in September when a fresh faced flurry of children rushed into the playground, none of us could have foreseen the ending to this academic year. How very sad, for all of us, to have had our time cut so short, but, we are healthy and we are safe and that is the most important thing.

Parents, what a task you have endured!! Balancing work and home school while still finding the time to cook, clean and, possibly, referee many a squabble has been a mammoth task and something that, when you look back, you will be so proud of yourself for! My sincerest thanks to you for how well you have all worked with your children to ensure that they continued to be engaged in their learning - I think, perhaps, a lot of them enjoyed your home schooling to actual schooling!! I'm grateful for the emails and pictures that you sent which allowed me to feel that I was still part of the lives of your children. I don't take it lightly when I say that they are just the most special bunch of children and I am, honestly, just devastated that we didn't get to finish the year together. Your children; in their effort, enthusiasm and all round loveliness are a total credit to you and you should be so proud of them and of yourselves. Thank you for all of your encouragement over this time, your kind words have meant so much.

I hope you all have a wonderful, restful summer and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Feel free to keep in touch if you have any questions, queries, funny stories or lovely photos.

Children!! I miss you!!

I've put together a little video for you to remind you of some of the things that we have done during our time together. I couldn't believe, from looking at your pictures, how much you have all grown since September!!

I just loved our time together and have so missed all of your giggles and the stories that you tell me during break and lunch times. Even though I am sad that our time together wasn't as long as it could have been, I am so pleased that we had so much fun together.

I can't wait to see you all again next year and to see how much more you have grown!

I'm so proud of you all.

I hope you have a fun filled Summer.

Lots and lots of love, Miss Neill  and Mrs Brown heart
