Home School Resources

In these unprecedented times, the staff at Maghaberry Primary School and Nursery want to ensure that the children are disadvantaged as little as possible. To this end, we will endeavour to upload weekly materials, in line with what would be normally covered in class each week. New materials will be uploaded each Friday for the following week, as long as it is possible for the individual teachers to do so, allowing also for flexibility in their own personal circumstances.

Please note the following:

  • It must be understood that we are unable to provide face-to-face teaching. Whilst the resources here cannot possibly compensate for that loss, they will, at least provide you with a basis for working with your own children. We will, when possible, link to videos or similar resources to help you with new concepts.
  • I am not asking my teachers to collect or collate any of the work that you may do at home with the children so you will not be asked to return anything to us. The resources here are simply to support you during this exceptional period of emergency closure.
  • It is not possible for us to monitor access to these materials through our website. It is up to you to work through the resources, doing as much or as little as you feel is appropriate, given your own circumstances. I suggest that you establish a set time each day (e.g., 9.00 am - 1.00 pm).
  • For convenience, each week's content will still be available to you, at the bottom of the Home School page.
